Fincher tops $1,000,000 raised
1,058 donors; 94% of donors from Tennessee
(Frog Jump, TN) First Quarter fundraising reports to be filed soon with the Federal Election Commission will show that farmer, small businessman and gospel-singer Stephen Fincher has raised in excess of $1,000,000 from 1,058 donors through the end of March.
94% of Fincher’s donors are from Tennessee.
"Traveling across the district, it's clear that most voters are looking for a common-sense conservative whose roots run deep in Tennessee, not politics. That's why we’ve been blessed with an outpouring of support from everyday folks," said Fincher.
The impressive financial showing is the culmination of several months of momentum. Fincher has won all four county GOP straw polls by overwhelming margins and received endorsements from scores of local and national conservative leaders and organizations.
After recently concluding a 3-day, 19-county bus tour that brought out nearly a thousand Tennesseans, Fincher commenced with a paid media campaign consisting of television, radio and direct mail.
Entering the Second Quarter, he maintains nearly $820,000 in his campaign account.
