First TN-08 Candidate up on Broadcast & Cable TV Supporters Respond to Plea to Help Air Debut Spot Calling for "Frog Jump Common-Sense"
(Frog Jump, TN) Frog Jump farmer and gospel-singer Stephen Fincher announced he’s taking his campaign to the airwaves, unveiling an ad set to debut Thursday on district-wide cable and Jackson-area broadcast television.
The spot, featuring footage from his recently-concluded 3-day, 19-county bus tour, concludes with Stephen’s clarion call: "We’re gonna take this country back." His priorities as laid out in the ad: repeal Obamacare, cut taxes to create jobs, and return common-sense and accountability to Washington. Calling for "Frog Jump common sense and integrity," and "good leaders that aren't afraid to stand up," Stephen reminds voters that only one of the GOP candidates for Congress had the courage to challenge Washington’s broken culture when it didn’t look easy.
The ad is part of a wave of early direct mail and radio advertising designed to introduce voters to Stephen Fincher and his deep roots in Tennessee, not politics.
Fincher has been previewing the spot with local and national supporters, asking for financial help to air it. The effort proved successful, as the campaign raised the necessary resources to purchase a significant buy in just a few days’ time.
