Dear Fellow Conservative:
Your previous financial support and friendship has been greatly appreciated. As we face a critical fundraising deadline on Wednesday evening, I must humbly ask that you join our fight again by offering a generous contribution to our common sense, conservative campaign.
We have been blessed with tremendous momentum generated throughout the 19 counties of the Eighth Congressional District.
I am convinced that, united by our conservative ideals, we won't be stopped in our quest to turn back Barack Obama's and Nancy Pelosi's liberal agenda.
Unfortunately, my Republican opponent has taken a different path. Resorting to misleading negative attacks in an effort to divide our party, my opponent's divisive tactics only threaten party unity and put at risk our ability to defeat liberal Roy Herron in November.
I won't let that happen.
While my opponent has contributed to Democrats, both personally and through organizations he's led, and has pledged to "reach across the aisle to try to work with Democrats," I'm prepared to bring conservatives together and stop the liberal agenda in its tracks.
Personal responsibility. Less government. Lower taxes. Christian beliefs. These are our bedrock values. It's time to turn up the heat on the Washington liberals who are putting these principles at risk, but we need the resources necessary to punch through the clutter.
